PowerPoint 2007 notes page not printing slide image?

PowerPoint 2007 notes page not printing slide image? Topic: PowerPoint 2007 notes page not printing slide image?

Question: I am trying to print out my PowerPoint presentation in the Notes Page format. I have typed the notes, but when I go to print all the prints is an empty box where the slide should be and the notes below it. How do I get the slide image to also print with the notes? I am using PowerPoint 2007 The slides are visible in Normal view, Slide Sorter view, and Slide Show, just not in the Notes Page view. With Notes Page, the slide is not visible on the screen or when I try to print. That last thing was it! I had to go slide by slide, but it worked! Thanks!

Now that is weird! Guess I don't need to tell you that ;) A couple thoughts... Go to the View tab --> Notes Master. See if everything shows there. At the top, you'll see check boxes for all the placeholders. If Slide Image is not on, that would solve your problem. Even if it is clicked AND you see it, if it got nudged off, it may cause a problem. Try unclicking Slide Image and clicking it back on. If that doesn't work, there is something that will. Unfortunately, it is a pain-in-the-*** and I know of no way to do it other than slide by slide. So if you have a lot of slides, it will take a while. Go to Notes Page view and on each page, right click and choose Notes Layout. Click all the boxes on and click OK. If that doesn't do it, I got nothin' else for you!

There so many related problems like yours, my firend has to show her Powerpoint presentation (made by 2003version on pc) on Mac. I suggest you to use a software to solve this kind of problems. Converting Powerpoint to Flash(.swf) is a common way if you want your file shown without any limit. Flash can be shown on every computer with the browser, you can embed it in your website or blog as well. http://www.sameshow.com/powerpoint-to-flash-pro.html#10072

IF your school has powerpoint 2003, microsoft will prompt you to download a compability pack which you just install then your fine. With viewer it should do the same. In powerpoint 2007 when you save the file it lets you choose to save it so its compatible With 2003. Save one 2007 copy and one 2003 copy. Simples. Btw.... probz a typo but you cant make a powerpoint with powerpoint VIEWER. xD

Depends on whether you used an 2007 only features in the presentation or not. But there is a simple way to be sure that it will work. Open the file, and do a "Save As..." Right under where you type the file name is a pull down for "file type" There will be a "type" in there for PP 2003 Select that and save the file It will save a new copy of the file that is guaranteed to be compatible with PP 2003 (and the viewer).

Relax - this is an easy fix. Go to Start - Printers and faxes and click to open. Highlight your printer icon by clicking just once. Look on the left hand side for the words: "See what's printing". Click 'printer' on the toolbar and choose 'cancel all documents'. That should put you back in business. I thought only boys were into "toys"? :)

Unplug your printer. (If possible without messing something up un-plug it from the computer connection also) Then open your printer folder... and highlight each job there and then delete. Turn off the computer, plug everything back and reboot. I hope it helps. It has been a while since mine did that same thing and to the best of my remembrance that was what I did and it worked. You may have to do one test run (your printer may want to do it when it is first plugged back in) GOOD LUCK. I hope someone who does this more answers this and gives you a more detailed way of doing this.
