Question: I am 15, 5ft 7, 8 stone 11, but i have 32C boobs which influences my weight a bit. I do ten hours of dance a week so i'm fairly active, as well as about 40 minutes running. My normal diet is: Brekafast: Go Ahead Strawberry Bar Lunch: Cheese Roll, Grapes, Crisps Dinner: Macaroni Cheese/Lasagne/Bolognese - normally pasta orientated, though sometimes sausages, chicken bites etc Snacks: A few biscuits Drinks: Quite a lot of squash, glass of fruit juice at breakfast, normally 1 lucozade sport each day for my exercise How should I lose weight by changing my diet, and are there any exercises I can do to get a more trim stomach? Just in my room, such as stomach crunches? Reasonable targets for a 15 year old with homework. Want to lose weight for the summer and bikini season. its about 122-123 lbs

You get a good amount of exercise :) & I don't think you need to lose weight. you sound slim actually. But i will give you health advice: For breakfast, try to eat something whole wheat and filling instead of a strawberry bar. What about whole wheat toast with cinnamon? or chex cereal with nonfat milk. For lunch, get rid of the potato chips. They're terrible for you. The rest of your lunch is good though :) instead of the chips, you could have mini pretzels and some veggies (cut up bell peppers, celery, etc) Dinner is good, just add salad to it. I can't recommed more vegetables enough. they will make a difference. For drinks you may want to try more sugarless and diet drinks. Crunches are good for a more trim stomach.

Well i have a balanced body n i dont like skin n curve less bod. But i have worked on many fashion assignments with my causin who aspires to be a designer n i could see that these skinny models look good in slim trousers or flairy skirts n high necks. I better answer u rather than being critical coz its ur choice n ya size zero is in so... Eat 5 short meals consisting of fruits n vegs only for a month. take tea empty stomach. Do crunches(get the procedure on google) and do cycling. Dont starve coz that actually slows down the digestion precess and leads to slow burning of energy. Dont take non-veg , eggs, milk or potatoes. Avoid junk. Try yoga or join gym dats best. dance on 4 songs every day. That helped me when i had becomes flabby, although i havent tried to be size zero but i think u need to do this strictly n for long time n u;ll get the results in 2 weeks. Dont over work n increase the work out time after every 1 week. dont cross over 1.30 hours. Begin with 30 minutes. gooooood luck . I pray u get that bod :)

I don't know what that stone measurement translates to (yes I'm a silly American, lol) but your diet doesn't sound like complete garbage which is good. You sound like you get a good amount of exercise though so keep that up. At the same time however, you are 15, and your body is still growing. Assuming that that stone measurement is not already medically overweight, (perhaps you'll tell me, perhaps not) then this shouldn't be a huge concern. However I will say 32C isn't big at all (in terms of your torso I mean) so I'm sure you're a healthy weight already. One final thought... see if you can eliminate the biscuits for snacks and substitute it with fruit perhaps. EDIT: If that other person above me is right and that stone measurement converts to 123 pounds, at your height you have NOTHING to worry about. If you lost weight that might in fact be more unhealthy for you and do more harm than good. And again, you're 15 and hardly overweight so this shouldn't be a concern at all.

I think it's gotten to a point where it's boring, cliche, and utterly predictable. Initially, when waifs, and heroin-chic were all the rage it was because there was an artistic irony by going against "the norm" (normal) to grab your attention and make you stop in your tracks. Leonard Nemoy made a coffee table book of naked obese women recently, which is considered by many a genuis art in photography because of how cliche and passe the skinny mod bod has become. The norm has become "skinny mod bod," and art must take a new direction or people will not stop in their tracks and go "Wow, that's a different perspective of beauty I haven't seen before." Dr. Phil also did a show on this topic where he had a top fashion designer defend the scary skinny models he chooses for runway. The designer claimed that scary skinny is art, its not the norm, and it's meant to be seen as the unattainable. Dr. Phil responded, "Yeah, I understand that, but it's been done by many before you. So how can you really call it art anymore, let alone YOUR artistic vision?" (<---paraphrasing)

Genetics plays a role in your overall body type. However, you can add or subtract weight from your god given frame. What i see in your diet is a lot of carbs. What your missing is a lot of protein. Protein helps build muscle and your body will naturally burn calories to maintain that muscle, about 3500 calories are burned to support 1lb of muscle. First eat a bigger breakfast to get your metabolism fired up and get some protein in every meal, eggs, turkey bacon, cottage cheese with whole wheat waffles and strawberries for example. Good snacks between your meals. So between breakfast and lunch have a few slices of turkey or hard boiled egg (protein), with an apple/fruit. The same between lunch and dinner. Get some chicken, fish and lean meats in your meals. Don't eat too late at night. And get rid of sugary and white flour products. There is a whole lot of exercises you can do and not enough space to elaborate here, so check out bestabsdiet.com for diet tips, exercise and recipes.

I'm 15 5'7 with 32Cs ..but I'm 8st 10 I've started an extreme diet plan too lose weight for bikini season. an apple for breakfast an apple for lunch and one full meal for tea with unlimited water supply. I've been doing it for a week and I've lost 2pounds, so you effectively can lose over a stone in two months following this.

Hey Anon, Great question.. Humans fall on a bell curve for everything.. some humans are dumb af, and many refuse to take personal responsibility for their health. They refuse to believe unlimited beans, fruits, and veg is good for you, because they want to enjoy that Tbone steak, ribs, cheese and eggs. Nutrition is based on physical science, the mechanistic data is out, and animal products negatively impact health. We can not sugar coat reality, and warp the science, the real logical run down is "how much does taste pleasure override optimal health" because moderation is a lame response. I have been posting replies for a few months now, and none of the low carbers on this forum has any knowledge of nutrition, they would rather throw insults, and bully me into silence, and try to leak my personal information. non of the Low carbers have ever provided evidence based scientific literature to back up their claims, because they know I will rip it to shreds. ( study design, health of participants, funding source, data collection methods ) I doubt they even know what a fat molecule looks like, or the elements that form a fatty acid. They can never tell me why I am wrong, and show me how they are right, it is like debating school kids from a cult. The most painful thing is that they share their horrific views with such confidence, they are literally spreading death and disease with large amounts of arrogance, and that breaks my heart. Look at this question, none of them have been able to provide any scientific evidence. they have no critical thinking and believe in propaganda, some are stupid, some just want to believe in the pseudoscience so bad, so they do not have to admit they are slaves to their tastebuds. I am only allowed to paste 10 links in my answers, so I need to be efficient. I use this website because each link will direct you to at least 7 peer reviewed studies. please click on the sources cited tab Watch people will thumbs down, but no one will leave a comment explaining how this science is wrong, or offer science to back up their claims. Dr Atkins died overweight and had secret heart disease he hid from the public. A book or video is only valid if it contains sound science. Not the goal to get rich on weak peoples suffering. I am embarrassed to say, I actually gave up for a while, I let their ignorance get to me, but I realized I had to keep trying. These questions represent real people, and real lives, and a lot of them sincerely want to get healthier. To maintain my sanity, I ignore loaded questions for example " I want to lose weight, but please do not recommend hard diets, i do not like veggies, or exercise that requires me to leave the house" those people do not want to be helped, posting a question makes them feel like they tried, but they haven't really until they put on those trainers and go for a walk. On this forum I have seen legitimate assassination attempts, people here tell people to eat 6 eggs a day, and 4 tablespoons of coconut oil a day is good for the brain..
