the 26 items were in use so it will be deleted when you next reboot your computer. Try Spybot again in Safe Mode. Try another free program called Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from http://www.malwarebytes.org Open it go to "Settings" and uncheck the box "always scan extra and heuristics objects" Select quick scan and delete all that it marks in red. When a notice pops up to restart computer select yes. Read the reviews about this great software at www.download.con

Hi there, Scan your system with Kaspersky antivirus and system cleaner Reginout. I hope your problem would be solved. If not yet, follow these steps: Step 1. Download a pop-up killer. A pop-up killer is a tool that runs in the background on your computer catching the pop-up windows automatically. This is the first step to get rid of all pop-up windows, mainly because it is easy to install and run a pop-up killer nowadays and most pop-up blockers does not need any configuration at all. We recommend Stop-the-Pop-Up, which is free and compatible with most browsers, such as Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, Mozilla, SBC Yahoo and NetCaptor. Step 2. Scan your computer for adware and spyware. If the pop-up killer did not solve the pop-up problem completely you might want to scan your computer for adware and spyware. This dubious type of software usually monitors your internet activity to open pop-up ads that fit your preferences. They spy on you, pure and simple. GAIN and SaveNow are two notorious adware applications that open pop-up windows. We recommend that you scan your computer with Bazooka Adware and Spyware Scanner which seems to be frequently updated. SpyBot is also a great spyware scanner. Step 3. Drop Internet Explorer. Join Mozilla and Opera. Mozilla is an open-source browser developed by a community of developers. Netscape Corporation initiated the project was in 1998. The Mozilla browser is available for free and has a built-in popup blocker. Another browser well worth mentioning is the Norwegian flagship Opera which impress with its speed and has a pop-up stopper feature. As Mozilla, Opera is also available for free. The only drawback with the Opera browser is that it displays banner ads in its user interface. Try one of these browsers if you don't want to install a pop-up killer. Step 4. Disable the Messenger service. Recently a new type of pop-up windows started to litter users' desktops. Spammers found out they could launch pop-up windows at the user desktop even when the user was not surfing the web. The spammers take advantage of a bug in the Microsoft Windows Operating system, which allows them to open pop-ups window with knowledge of the IP number only. Do not despair; you can stop the Messenger Service pop-ups too. Step 5. Make friends with the HOST file and block the ad servers. It is possible to block pop-ups and banner ads by editing the host file.

The above answer is very complete and robust nevertheless the between the least puzzling techniques must be that as quickly as those seek products sounds such as you in simple terms typed "A" and a itemizing looks of the previous searched products in simple terms circulate your "Down arrow key" on the keyboard and press "Del". the particular seek merchandise could be long gone. try it. stable success

The 26 problems the spybot failed to delete where probably in memory when you ran the scan therefore you where unable to remove them. It like trying to delete a file while you have it open it does not work very well. Run msconfig through the run prompt. Under the startup tab disable everything. Reboot your PC in safemode and allow spybot to do another scan If spybot fails to remove the problems it should prompt you to allow it to run a scan before boot-up click yes. After you are done run msconfig again and under the general tab select normal startup and click ok. Reboot Hope this help. Although you can never be 100 percent sure you have removed everything even the best antivirus and antispyware miss things but spybot is very good as long as its up-to-date and you are also running current antivirus.

I have a program for free that does everything for me. You also have to download a host program. The program is avast! home edition. The host program website is http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/.

Some people just mean to say funny (and maybe sarcastic, or wry humor-type) things just to get two points. I recently over-reacted to a "sassy" answer but I'm over it now. They are just words, sometimes offending, but don't let that bother you, the benefits of the ability to communicate here without borders outweighs the small bit of "flak" we sometimes get! Don't let it discourage you - keep on communicating!
