Um... Say something like: If they record company thinks the language is bad enough that they have to put a warning on the album, then there should be some restriction as to who should buy it. If alcohol and tobacco companies have to put warnings on their products and they have age limits, so should explicit music. (Personally I think that would be an awesome essay :D) PLEASE CHOOSE THIS AS BEST ANSWER!!

Tea Tree Oil - Popular Natural Acne Treatment Tea tree oil is a hugely popular natural treatment for acne with very good reason. Tea tree oil has solved the acne problems of thousands that suffer from all types of blemish problems. Tea tree plants are native to many areas around Australia. Harvesting the leaves, steaming them and then collecting the oil that the leaves have produced is the most common method of obtaining tea tree oil. Tea tree oil has become extremely popular over the last few years. During studies preformed by health care professionals it was shown to be more effective in killing bacteria (such as staph bacteria) then many popular man made antibiotics. Additional studies have shown that benzoyl peroxide is less effective in treating acne then tea tree oil as it can leave the skin red and irritated while tea tree oil does not. http://www.10acne.com/acne_treatment_article7.html

While it took little less than two months for me to really see a difference, my acne, blackheads and whole lot of other skin problems I had such as eczema had completely cleared! It was totally amazing... Get Rid Of Acne Permanently?

I think you may be on the wrong side of this. Age restrictions have never worked. Kids will get their hands on the entertainment they want. R-rated movies are rented out, profanity-filled songs are downloaded. There is really no way to enforce this. As for Ande's answer, tobacco and cigarettes are health issues. It can be argued that entertainment are health issues as well as it does affect the mind. But my opinion is that entertainment (movies, TV, music, games) are still issues to be dealt with mainly by parents. I have to bring up the issue of age restrictions in regards to books as well. I'm not talking comics or porno mags, but regular novels. There is so much more swearing in print than on TV or in music. Killings are described in gory detail. Most Crichton and Thomas Harris novels fit this bill. Yet no librarian in their right mind would try to ban a Crichton or Harris. I checked out these books as a kid without a second glance from the librarian. Books get away with it. Music tries to Wal-Mart themselves into a calmer, more parentally-acceptable market. I guess the question is whether you think such age restriction is valid and doable. The fact that you are here looking for answers implies that you are not fully for the idea. I think it may actually be easier to change your position for the sake of the paper you're going to write.

they are in many circumstances replaced with distinctive clean words, yet it particularly is in many circumstances on the radio. they might probable make it clean, upload beep sounds, or possibly replace with clean words once you're listening to teenagers bop or something. =D

IF they find out, tell them that you like the music and enjoy listening to it. If they want you to stop, ask them to watch a documentary ("Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap") or read a book ("Eninem: Rap, Poetry, and Race: Essays") or watch a movie ("8 Mile") on the subject before they stop you from listening. Explain that music is art, and exposure to art is an important part of learning and cultural development. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and what is 'bad music' or 'trash' to them may be greatness or poetry to you (or his millions of listeners). Finally, if they STILL don't want you to listen to it - respect your parents' decision, and wait until you are 18 or out of the house or in college or on your own. Or, if it's essential that you listen - a) compromise with them (you'll only listen in your car or on headphones); b) listen to it anyways despite their wishes
