Question: I was wondering if I was only a part time student how long it would take to add onto the bachelors I already have. I have a B.S. in Journalism with a minor in psychology but would like to get a second major in Nutrition. Just wondering about how long that would take.

Some universities may waive the general education part if the applicant already completed a bachelors degree. What you need to complete depends on the university and not every one will accept an application from you. I'd say you need at least 2 year because at minimum, you need to complete the major's coursework for your second degree. Universities may have residency credit requirement (meaning you need to complete a certain number of units at that university)

If you're planning to open your own practice, then you would be among the top tier of earning...that's at least 80k. as for benefits, that's your decisions. it's like opening your own 'mom and pop' business. check out the bureau of labor statistic on psychologist. i think you need to attend regular session with a psychologist if you become one.

Depending upon how many (if any) science classes you have taken in the past, you will need the equivalent of anywhere between 2 and 3 full time years (60 to 90 credit hours). If you were to take 8 credit hours per semester, then that would be between 7.5 semesters and 11 semesters.

Part time bachelor degrees can take a long time to finish. and i don think you can major again in another field. I would suggest you opt for a certification program or a diploma in nutrition. Certificates are getting really popular nowadays. http://www.excite.com/education/

Merrill Originally Answered: How long is the average paragraph?
Actually, there is no desired length for a paragraph. A paragraph can not be bound by number of lines. A paragraph is one idea, and once that idea has concluded, the next paragraph may be started. However, teachers from middle school and beyond state that 4 to 5 paragraphs is the recommended guideline. But if you essays seem to short, consider adding a small conclusion to each paragraph. This answer, as a matter of fact, is a complete paragraph, not because the amount of lines I used, but because it is a complete thought. Good luck!
