Question: 1) Graph the linear inequality 6x-y≤3 2)Graph the linear inequality x>-4y how do i graph them, is the line dashed or solid ? and what side should I shade? ;'( THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE!

<= or >=sign represents that the line will be solid just a < or > means that the line is dashed I dont know how to make a graph in the yahoo answers question but to find the x int do 3/6 and the y is 3/-1 (set x= to 0 when you find y and set y=to 0 for solving x) 1.points= (1/2,-3) (solid line) 2.(0,0) and the slope is -a/b which is 1/4. (dotted line) to find what side to shade just plug in 0 for x and y. if the inequality is true shade towards the origin if its not true shade on the other side of it. (this is when the line doesnt go through (0,0) since the 2nd one does you will have to try a point like (1,1) or something

A society is a collection of men/women like you and me. If,we ever change our attitude, solve our problems amicably, certainly there will be a change in the society and if may become brighter, as per your wish. But, do you think it will ever happen? No., not until the human being is devoid of selfishness. A better dream, which may not become real.

This is an interesting concept, however, its unlikely to occur for the following reason. Social problems are a result of the actions of individuals in a given social group. The key here is their actions which are controlled by their thinking. How one thinks determines how one acts. There are many reasons why individuals think the way they do. Their life experiences have a great deal to do with how they respond to stimuli. Additionally, how and who decides if the behavior is problematic, and its up to each individual to decide if their behvaior needs to change? That becomes a matter of experience. Do you want your mind controlled by someone else or some government? I would like to see our society change for the better, but we as a group must determine and agree what better is. We don't all agree on what that is yet.

what if some individuals don't want to have their problems solved? i think that the pressures of society causes more problems in a person. the pressure to conform to a society's values can cause terrible conflict when a person's individual values are compromised. also, if you are talking about some kind of personal enlightenment, yes a society could become brighter but it goes back to the individual and his/her interpertation of what their enlightenment is. as long as humans act as individuals, there will be conflict/problems. mind control anyone?

She solves 5 math problems every 12 minutes. 20 sets of 7 math problems is 140 questions. If it takes 12 minutes for each 5 problems, then 140 problems is 140/5 iterations, or 28 iterations. Each iteration takes 12 minutes, so 28 x 12 = 336 minutes, or 5 hrs and 36 minutes. Choice J. Another way to look at it is that, since it takes 12 minutes for 5 math problems, each math problem takes 12/5 minutes, or 2.4 minutes. 140 questions will take 140 x 2.4 = 336 minutes.

5 problems = 12 minutes 1 problem = 12/5 minutes 20 X 7 = 140 problems 140 problems = 12/5 X 140 = 12 X 28 = 336 minutes = 5 hours 36 minutes ANSWER is = J

20 sets of 7 math problems = 20 * 7 = 140 problems 5 problems in 12 mins => 140 problems in : (140 * 12)/5 = 336 minutes which is 5 hours 36 minutes hence option J
