Question: first time i've used it, will 10mg be very effective in helping me study all night? that's funny you'd assume that jeff, but i can say from first hand experience that that's not the case... ok guys, this was a few days ago, and let me tell you what happened, i took the pills, got really excited the second after i popped it because i didn't know what to expect, then i calmed down and did my hw for a few hours, then i made some jo joes, then went to sleep. so seriously screw all you googlers.

You're about to be amazed of how much adderall and other ADHD drugs will make you shaky, unable to concentrate, and kill any chance of studying at all.

It is way over priced. You do NOT want a machine to last because then you will have old technology. You want minimal investment so that you can dump the processor and motherboard as often as possible. You don't need 1 terrabyte, much less 6. The 2 year service is a waste. McAffee LiveSafe is questionable. On the internet you can get one as good for half that. But the rest of the specs are reasonable and common. NVidia may be better than AMD, but that is questionable. They surpass each other alternately, and I don't know which is best right now.

If you're just watching youtube videos, then yes it's overkill, and overpriced. If you're editing raw HD video, then it's still more than you really need, and it's still overpriced for what you're getting but to a lesser extent.

While it may keep you awake, it will not help you study. To study requires increased awareness, and any drug, adderall included, decrease awareness. To improve study ability see the link below. Here are the main effects of adderall: What Are The Risks? Sudden deaths: See FDA Alert. Abuse potential: See Warning. Worsening mental illness (psychosis): Adderall may make symptoms of existing mental illness worse. Possible decreased growth and weight loss: Adderall may decrease growth and cause weight loss. Children who take it for a long time should have their growth and body weight measured regularly. Increased tics: Adderall may worsen tics and Tourette’s disorder. Pregnancy: Tell your healthcare professional if you are or may be pregnant because your baby may be premature or have a low birth weight. Also, your baby may show withdrawal symptoms, such as agitation and drowsiness. Breast feeding: Do not breast feed while taking Adderall because it can pass into your breast milk. Other side effects include loss of appetite, difficulty sleeping, dry mouth, headaches, and mood changes.

Its effective if your using to help you focus. I myself take 10mg every morning to help me focus in school. That subtle thing you notice is just enough to help you study or stay alert and concentrate on what you're doing. If you really want to notice that effect though, take about 30mg. But that's getting into the abuse realm ;) don't take it too late in the day though, because you wont sleep. i promise.

Normally a dose of 20-40 mg is a more common dose that treats depression and/or anxiety. It can go up to 80 mg in some cases. But many doctors like to slowly increase the dose to reduce the risk of side effects. But it is possible it could help, at least a bit. It can also take 4-6 weeks for antidepressants to start to work. Unfortunately there is no antidepressant that works very quickly. There are instant acting (within 20-60 min) anti-anxiety medications which are often used short term as a stop gap measure until the antidepressant kicks in. So as hard as it is you will need to wait it out a bit. But if things get worse don't hesitate to call your doctor and say that you need more help quickly. And antidepressants are not addictive. It is a scientific fact and there is not a study on earth that says they are. When people take them long term they can have some level of physical dependency (which just means the body has adapted to having the drugs). But that just means that it is important to not just stop them one day, people need to take a few weeks, occasionally more to stop them. Addiction is a compulsion, a behaviour of "needing" drugs, antidepressants can not cause that. Many people don't tapper the dose at all or not slowly, they have withdrawal and think "I'm an addict and these pills are bad." And advice that consists of a single anecdotal story of one experience does not logically flow into a belief they should not be used. People have taken two Tylenol and died, it is extremely rare but it has happened. Yet people continue to take it and most would hardly call it a bad drug.
