Question: do? Virginia Thomas, Clarence Thomas wife, admitted she called Anita Hill's work phone at 0730 on a Saturday morning and she left a voice mail asking for an apology. I have drunks in my family and that sound like the crazy crap they do. "Good morning Anita Hill, it's Ginni Thomas. I just want to reach across the airwaves and the years and ask you to consider something. I would love you to consider an apology sometimes and some full explanation of why you did what you did with my husband." Virginia Thomas

it doesn't surprise me, but if Anita Hill owes her and Clarence an apology, so do the other FIVE women who were waiting outside the Senate chamber to give identical testimony regarding then-nominee Clarence... until then-Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Joe Biden cut off questioning (in a blatant move designed to shield Mr. Thomas from further humiliation for his pattern of harassment). perhaps the brain tumor Joe had at the time was interfering with his critical thinking ability. Thomas' nomination SHOULD have been derailed at any cost. the man is an activist judge (but i guess that's "OK" because he's a conservative, huh?) and a world-class extremist who agrees with Scalia that discrimination against women is NOT prohibited by the constitution REGARDLESS of the wording of the 14th amendment.

At about 2PM go to your home phone and dial 911. When they answer, tell them it's a test and give them your phone number and address. If it matches, then you're good. If it doesn't, then tell them you need to get in touch with the 911 administrator. There you will make sure that the information is corrected by hand. The 2PM time is that you want to test this sometime when they're not busy. 10AM works. Carl

Sure and she left a message to a paranoid Hill who turned it over to the FBI, why? A normal person would have posted it on youtube or facebook. I predict it will not harm Thomas' lifetime appointment or affect the mid terms in any way. This mostly reminds of that time when Democrats failed to sink Thomas because they wanted a Progressive, legislate from the bench justice on The Court, like Sotomayor, Ginsburg and Kagan.

Yes... I think that's a pretty accurate statement. How embarrassing! And Clarence Thomas is a PIG, by the way.

Leaving a voicemail that dredges up a 19 year old issue? Yes, especially because it can't be good for Justice Thomas.

I spent most of my banking career screening calls. The people calling would not know that the boss really didn't want to talk to them. It's a tight rope walk, backwards, in high heels, while whistling. (you may want to skip the high heels). With the first question, try to anticipate further questions and then go ask Mr boss. Once he's answered, see if he wants to talk to the caller if they have more inquiries. If not, then deliver the info to the caller. More questions, write them down and from that take a number where the busy boss can reach them(or you'll call back with the answers)It helps to solve their problem and learn as you go. I also physically had to keep people from barging into boss's office. That's even harder.
