Question: Political science professor: Many people insist that the Internet is revolutionizing the political process. They argue that Internet debates and online political polls and chat rooms give people greater access to political information. And they’re right that online political chatter increases daily. But offering or reading anonymous online opinions does not by itself make for active political participation. In the past one would attend a rally, protest, or town meeting to engage in real politics. Today, people sit passively in front of computer screens under the illusion that they are connecting with their fellow citizens. Which one of the following best expresses the main idea of the professor’s argument? A.Internet debates and online political polls and chat rooms give people greater access to political information. B.Political organizations of the past bear no resemblance to the political organizations of today. C.While the Internet has made more political content available, meaningful political involvement has decreased. D.The Internet has revolutionized the political process because it has allowed many more political viewpoints to be expressed. i feel stuck more between B and C i just needed the letter seth.thank you to everyone that answered

The professor is stating that activity on internet sites that discuss politics only provide an illusion of participation in the overall process. He or she does not think the internet sites add to the process in any meaningful way, therefore the answer is: C.. While the internet has made more political content available, meaningful political involvement has decreased.

You want critical thinking? Well, first, you have not even given a real question. Secondly, you have contradicted yourself at least twice in what you've said. Thirdly, from the fact that you can hit the correct keyboard keys consistently it does not follow that the author is proven in his claims. And Lastly, you'd do yourself a big favor when inquiring into complex notions such as memory and its relation to conciousness, if you took a few critical thinking and logic classes from your philosophy department. You also should consider taking classes on English grammar.

Far more Complex than your question or the brains ability to understand the quesiton, In fact a computer on which you were typing or I am typing is having the same working pattern that of a normal human brain, Ever though on it ?

I always liked these sort of questions, thought provoking and emotionally provocative as well. First, I would seek the Lord in prayer, asking Him to either calm the storm or calm the people. Then, I guess I would implement a rotation of people in the water holding on to the life boat as best they could. Being the captain, I imagine I would be the first to go into the water. What would you do?

Quickly, because soon those people will realize they don't need a captain and will throw ME overboard! I'd put my arms on the shoulders of the people nearest me and tell them they'll be with me to the end. Then I'd order them to throw everyone else overboard. I'd also like to kill some of the others and string their bodies behind the boat for food, but I'm afraid that might draw sharks. We'd need a smaller boat to hold the bodies. EDIT: The last thing you'll find help with HERE is critical thinking!

As the captain of the ship, I would consider it my responsibility to sacrifice my life for the passengers. And the same would go for any crewman that served under me. The only thing that might alter that decision would be if my skills, or that of my crewmen might be needed to guide the boat, etc. Depending on who is left, I would ask for volunteers. Beyond that, anyone who did not have a child to care for would be exempt. Those who did not would draw straws or something similar. Anyone who resisted, once they were chosen, would be forcefully thrown overboard by the crew. And then myself and the crew would jump out. (And any crewman that wouldn't follow such an order wouldn't be serving under me, to begin with. This is the sort of thing that ANYONE who seeks the benefits of being a leader has to consider beforehand. Anyone who is going to be a leader, needs to understand that he is a servant, first and foremost)
