Does Cell Food really work?
Topic: Does Cell Food really work?

I recently started trying Cell Food. People talk about this stuff like it is a miracle cure for almost everything that you can think of. It is $40.00 a bottle and the bottle lasts for 1 month. You drop 8 drops into 8 ounces of water, 3 times daily and drink or you can mix it in the morning and just sip all day. Cell Food claims to treat and cure all types of ailments by adding oxygen to the cells. People say that they were dying, and Cell Food saved their lives. It is only sold at Whole Foods and of course, online. You can not even get it from GNC. Does anyone have any information on this product, and does anyone know if Cell Food really works?

adding oxygen to the cells.... your lungs do that already, and there are a number of things that can't be cured simply by increasing blood oxygen levels, pretty much everything. if it claims to cure "everything" than clearly its violating FDA regulations that require such claims to be backed up by evidence. if it makes vague claims like "supporting health" in one way or another its advertising in a way to avoid FDA regulation.
anecdotal evidence is essentially worthless, the person claiming "it cured me" has no way of knowing weather or not the product actually effected their condition, or if it's simply a case of taking the product while they were getting treated, or getting better on their own anyway. that's why its not recognized as evidence.
bottom line is that your wasting money on fancy water drops.
alternative medicines can be dangerous, especially when used as a replacement. there's no regulations, no requirements to list possible side effects, or anything like that. if you have a problem go to a real medical doctor, don't look for the product that is cheapest or make the most pie in the sky claims, go with the product that has been demonstrated to work in a scientific way.

Originally Answered: how do cell structures and modes of transport relate to autotrophic and heterotrophic roles in a food web?
Autotrophic Organism are organism that has to depend on other organism for food and thus, their trophic level is 'consumer'. Heterotrophic are organism that can produce their own food such as plants. Their cell contains chloroplast and inside the cloroplast is chollorphyl which allows the plant to produce glucose through photosynthesis. Heterotrophic are always at the start of the food chain/web and their trophic level is 'producer'.
Eg. Leaf(heterotroph)- catipillarr! - birds - human
I just ordered a bottle on Amazon for around $24. I bought a bottle about a year ago at Whole Foods and it was more than $10 more. I'm not sure that it did much for me because I was taking it in conjunction with many other supplements. However, about 6 months ago I saw some pretty substantial cognitive improvement which subsided about 5 months ago. I haven't had Cell Food since about 5 months ago, so it is possible that the Cell Food was a major factor in that improvement. I'll be receiving the bottle next Wednesday, so hopefully I'll see a boost. :)

Most disease is a result of lack of oxygen. Cancer, for example, can't survive in an oxygen-rich environment. So this product makes a lot of sense. It's an unfortunately glitch of the internet that a 7 year old answer by someone with no credentials can still be voted on top because it "sounds good" to people. Cell food is, like a lot of natural and alternative remedies, not supported by the FDA. Big deal. Chemo and radiation are supported by it yet they kill millions of people each year! They aren't cures, they are merely the only accepted routine procedures. On many websites Cellfood has rave reviews from everyday people who have simply tried it for themselves. And honestly, Yahoo Answers is NOT the place to find answers, it's just a place where know-it-alls sound off on things they think makes them sound smart. Go read real reviews by people who used it. As for being harsh on plastics or fabrics, yes, that the oxygen. You can put it directly on a cut or sore and it starts healing it right away.

Originally Answered: Can A Boss take a cell phone away at work?
I don't think he can physically take anything away from you unless you let him. He could be sued for violating certain laws. There's a reason why they call some property 'private'. He may be allowed to ask you to put your cellphone away somewhere. And create rules that state that your cell phone can not be in your physical possession depending on whether or not it interferes somehow with the job you are performing or the business.
Well, let's just get down to brass tacks. No he can't physically take it away, but he can ask you to not carry it with you. And he can fire you if you don't follow the rules. It sounds like they have clearly laid the boundaries with no cell phone use. I would recommend not using the cell phone except for emergencies. And since you have a newborn on the way, the boss should be kind enough to allow emergency communication for childbirth transportation, because that's what it sounds like you are getting at. This is a bit tricky.
I suggest your boyfriend call his boss and explain in a very very calm and relaxed manner that his girlfriend was hoping to keep the cell phone available with him until the baby is born and perhaps a week or two after wards - only for emergencies. If the boss says no, you still have communication and he can be sued if he doesn't communicate an emergency to your boyfriend in a timely manner, like immediately. But don't tell the boss you know that, because saying something like that is like asking to be fired. How's that?
It's all about timing and delivery! No pun intended. From the boss's point of view, he or she, or they are thinking, "If I let one person then they all start texting and nothing gets done!" So that's the hurdle you have to clear. If you explain that you understand his point of view it will help him have empathy for you, and many times this will win the hearts of many people. But never call and demand anything from a boss. They are the boss and give them that respect, because they deserve it.
Maybe have your boyfriend hand the boss a cute little card from his girlfriend with a very nice little note that explains your situation and asks very very nicely for what you want. Send it with some home made cupcakes, brownies, and cookies. Ask the boss over for dinner! These things work. You never know, your boyfriend could end up being the boss! Pretty cool eh?
Good luck with your pregnancy. I hope you have a lovely healthy baby.
