Where do I start?
Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Scott Joplin, Debussy, Brahms, Liszt, Ravel, Chopin and George Gershwin are all fantastic composers.
Some good songs to check out:
Beethoven - Pathetique Sonata, Moonlight Sonata, Symphony no. 7,
Rach. - Piano Concerto no. 2, Sonata in G minor (for cello and piano), Prelude in C minor
Scott Joplin - maple Leaf rag, the entertainer, magnetic rag
Debussy - Clair de Lune, L'Isle Joyeuse, Golliwog's Cakewalk, Arabesque, Daydream
Ravel - Bolero, Juex D' eau, Gaspard De La Nuit
Chopin - Piano Concerto 2, Raindrop Prelude, Etude op. 10 no. 3
George Gershwin - Rhapsody in Blue, Concerto in F, an American in Paris
Liszt - Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 and 6, Liberstraum,
There's more good songs by those artists, but those are my favorite.
Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin... Cannibal Corpse (Nah, just kidding, unless you're a Death Metal fan.)
Oh yes, "chelo" is spelled, cello.
Paganini is a real good artist. His songs are usually different than other composers, but that is why so many people like his pieces!
