Question: Could anyone look at this text about car repair review and say if I wrote it correctly? I have to translate it from Polish into English. There are several unrelated texts which are feedback from customers: The service advisor at first declined to change brake discs and it was not until great argument that he agreed to do it. I really liked their punctual approach. They did everything just like we had agreed. Everything was done to my satisfaction. Not only did they performed diagnostic but also fixed all the problems they found, and consulted me before making any repairs.

All of the sentences are translated pretty well. The 1st and the 3rd each had one minor grammatical error. I fixed them below but it's barely noticeable. The service advisor at first declined to change the brake discs and it was not until great argument that he agreed to do it. Everything was done to my satisfaction. Not only did they perform a diagnostic but also fixed all the problems they found, and consulted me before making any repairs.

I regretfully have to admit that the people who have left me continue to live on in my memory as nothing more than capital letters. The capital letters part does not make sense to me. Also: maybe change it to this.. Regretfully, I MUST admit; the people who have left me continue to live on in my memory, as nothing more than capital letters.

The service manager at first declined to change the brake pads, and it was not until AFTER great argument that he agreed to do it. I really liked their punctuality. They did everything just AS we had agreed. Everything was done to my satisfaction. Not only did they PERFORM A diagnostic, but also fixed all the problems they found and consulted me before making any repairs.

is this what a Polish person said? is this for an English class or are you relaying something and who are you telling it to? If it were me I'd probably say something like: I went to ___name the place___ and asked the service advisor to fix my brakes, he didn't see they were worn enough so he refused but I insisted and said I'd pay for new brakes anyway so he had his mechanic do the job. Initially they provided an estimate which I signed, they did the usual customary diagnostic, pinpointed the problems, notified me, did the work required to my satisfaction, and billed accordingly.

Sounds better as: She pulled out a mirror to aid her as she applied a thick layer of lipstick. She then burst into laughter and her mood swung into a passionate aura of falling in love.
